MK Nature Center
The MK Nature Center is a public education center, managed by Idaho Department of Fish and Game. The MKNC has hosted many of our programs, including monthly meetings and the Kids' Christmas Bird Count, and GEAS has helped support their educational programs and outreach events. |

This is a coalition that is dedicated to the preservation of the health of the Boise River. Partners include GEAS, Sierra Club, Idaho Rivers United, Trout Unlimited, Great Old Broads for Wilderness, Advocates for the West, and Idaho Conservation League.
The creation of this reserve was led by GEAS but wouldn't have been possible without our many partners. The efforts of the Bureau of Land Management, Idaho Fish and Game, Land Trust of the Treasure Valley, Intermountain Bird Observatory, Ada County Sheriff's Department, and the Idaho Wildlife Federation were all invaluable in protecting Blacks Creek for people and wildlife.
