Idaho Master Naturalists Program

Golden Eagle Audubon Society is proud to have joined the Sagebrush-Steppe Chapter as a partner in 2020. Along with the Idaho Fish & Game Department and the Idaho Botanical Garden, we look forward to helping educate the next cohort of Master Naturalists and awesome volunteers!

The Idaho Master Naturalist Program aims to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to actively work toward stewardship of Idaho’s natural environment. Any adult who enjoys nature and is interested in learning more can become a Master Naturalist.

Master Naturalists receive 40 hours of education and earn certification by volunteering 40 hours of their time over the course of a year. Idaho Master Naturalists volunteer by leading field trips, growing & planting native plants, educating the public….. the list is endless!

Check back in late 2020 to register for the 2021 cohort!

Membership starts at just $20/year and supports our programs, education, conservation, and advocacy work.
