GEAS is a key partner of the The Treasure Valley Native Plant Network, which utilizes volunteer support and numerous partnerships to collect, germinate, propagate, and create banks of seedlings for planting in restoration sites around the Treasure Valley. |
New Roots is a unique experiential learning program for refugee and immigrant youth, and is cost-free for students. Each day during the 12 days of programming New Roots students take field trips to different sites around the Treasure Valley and contribute to conservation through hands-on learning, STEAM learning. |
GEAS supports multiple citizen science projects, including Climate Watch, Blue Bird Nest Monitoring, and annual bird counts like the Christmas Bird Count and Great Backyard Bird Count. Enjoy nature while contributing to scientific knowledge about birds! |
