Monthly Program: Birds of Arizona and Nevada with Marian Herz

  • Idaho Fish and Game 600 South Walnut Street Boise, ID, 83712 United States (map)

Verdin - MARIAN HERZ

This presentation will focus on the birds found on a September 2020 road trip from Boise, through Nevada to the southeast corner of the state, northern Arizona and southwest Utah. In addition we’ll visit the Phoenix area in the summer of 2018 and Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ in April of 2022. Sites visited include national parks, national monuments, national wildlife refuges, state parks and a local riparian reserve. While looking at photographs of the birds found in these areas, we’ll discuss which areas are most promising for finding birds.
