Steller’s Jay by Krispen Hartung

Ravens, Crows, Magpies, and Jays: The World of Corvids

Whether as characters in mythology or subjects of scientific study, corvids (ravens, crows, magpies, and jays) have fascinated humans for millennia. Along with their striking plumage and brash behaviors, corvids are known for their complex social structures, vocal mimicry, and tool use. Join John Rakestraw in this class to explore the world of corvids. We will learn how to find and identify all the ravens, crows, magpies, and jays in Idaho, and see how they impact their environment.

Class fee: $20 Golden Eagle Audubon members, $30 non-members
