Spring Migration! Landbirds in Hulls Gulch

  • Foothills Learning Center 3188 Sunset Peak Road Boise, ID, 83702 United States (map)

Yellow Warbler by Ken Miracle

Join Terry Rich at the Foothills Learning Center to learn about the “landbirds” of Hulls Gulch - flycatchers, swallows, warblers, sparrows and blackbirds. We’ll look at some of the most common species that will be arriving and passing through over the next month. As always, we’ll spend some time on how to tell similar species apart. This will be about plumage, behavior, and other identification cues, except song.

This class is hosted by City of Boise Environmental Education and pre-registration is required.
