Camas Prairie-Centennial Marsh Wildlife Management Area
Journey up to Camas Prairie - Centennial Marsh Wildlife Management Area in Camas County with Golden Eagle Audubon for a chance to view a wide variety of waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, and other marshland species including black terns and phalaropes.
Bird Walk: Foote Park Wren Search

Accessible Birding: Hulls Gulch
We will explore the new accessible trail loop and other gravel pathways between the Grove Trailhead parking area and the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center. We will possibly see Anna’s Hummingbirds, Great-horned Owls, Yellow-breasted Chats and many others.
Birding at Wilson Springs Pond
Wilson's Spring Ponds offers an easy way to see nature. It sits on 7 acres of mostly paved paths. Some areas are a bit uneven but it's a wonderful way to see several shore birds. Possible birds on our trip are various ducks, shorebirds, warblers and more.

Prairie and SF Boise River
Join Golden Eagle Audubon for our premier field trip. This route replicates Al Larson's Prairie Bluebird Tour, and while we won't have Al to band babies for us, we will see Mountain Bluebirds.
Wednesday Birders: Mores Creek and Robie Creek
Join Golden Eagle Audubon and the Wednesday Morning Birders for a visit to Mores Creek and Robie Creek Parks off Highway 21. The pace will be slow to allow all to enjoy the birds and watch any interesting bird behavior.
Field Trip: Montour/High Valley
The Montour Wildlife Management Area is located on the floodplain of the Payette River. Its lowlands are a complex of cottonwood-willow river bottoms, wetlands and ponds, and agricultureal fields adjacent to the Payette River.

Join Golden Eagle Audubon for our monthly beginner and family-friendly bird walk along the Bethine Church River Trail. This is a great opportunity to learn about riparian habitat as we focus on local birds, plants, and stewardship efforts in the area.
Birding at Foote Park
Join Golden Eagle Audubon for some birding around Foote Park. We will undertake a moderate hike down the Black Cliffs Trail. We will travel between 1-2 miles on rocky uneven trails.
Wednesday Birders: East Dike Trail in Canyon County
Join Golden Eagle Audubon for an approximately 1.5 mile along the East Dike Trail at Lake Lowell.

We will be exploring Kathryn Albertson Park on this birding outing. There is a variety of wildlife that can be found in the park, including a number of bird species.

We will be exploring the area of Discovery Park. We will wander around the park looking for early migrants and any wintering songbirds in the trees and on the cliffs across the road.

This will be a day trip to Fort Boise WMA. We hope to be at the Wildlife Management Area just before thousands of Snow Geese arrive.

We will be exploring the area of Black's Creek to see what birds may be present this time of year.
Wednesday Birders: Wilson Springs Ponds
Together, the Wednesday Birders will explore the area around Wilson Springs Ponds in Nampa. Several of the ponds do not freeze in winter so they attract a large number and variety of waterfowl.
Field Trip to Ted Trueblood and CJ Strike
Come join the Golden Eagle Audubon Society for some of the best birding in Southern Idaho. We will explore Ted Trueblood WMA, and then we'll continue on to make a few stops at CJ Strike Reservoir.
