Boise River ReWild Plot Lead Training

  • Idaho Parks and Recreation 5657 East Warm Springs Avenue Boise, ID, 83716 United States (map)

The Boise River ReWild Project is into year two and thousands of plants planted last year are starting to green up. To reach our 2023 goals, we need more Plot Leads.

Each Adopt-A-Plot group is supervised by a Plot Lead. Plot Leads are trained to help the volunteers tending the plot with each step of the restoration - weeding, planting, watering and ongoing care. This is a crucial role in the restoration of our plots and it's is a great job to gain knowledge about habitat restoration and learn organizing skills!

Why become a Plot Lead for Boise River ReWild?

  • Plot leads from 2022 said it was "INSANELY REWARDING"

  • Plot Leads can co-lead with a friend

  • You get to set your own volunteer hours

  • Connect with FUN volunteers

  • Make a difference for the birds, bugs and Boise River

Our next Plot Lead training will be August 17th, 5-6:30pm.

Sign up HERE to be a leader in the ReWild efforts. Please note that you will need to register as a ReWild volunteer first, then sign up for this opportunity. That streamlines everything in the future!
