Introduction to Birdwatching

Birding is a fun, outdoor activity that people of all ages and abilities can enjoy, and it's easy to get started. In this class you'll learn about the birds you hear or see in your yard or on your walks. Identifying birds by their color, shape, behavior and sounds are covered in this class.  You’ll also learn about birding resources and gear. This class is perfect for beginning birders and anyone ready to learn more about birds.

This class is taught by Golden Eagle Audubon volunteersor Boise Learns - Community Education. Registration is required.

Online registration for the WINTER 2026 session will open on Monday, January 5, 2026.
