This program introduces the incredible world of Idaho’s owls, explaining how their specialized anatomy and behaviors allow them to thrive in a wide range of habitats. Discover the unique characteristics of local species—from tiny pygmy-owls to massive great grays—while learning tips for spotting them in the field. Conservation concerns, viewing etiquette, and ways to support owl habitat complete the presentation.

This class is taught by Golden Eagle Audubon volunteers as part of Boise Learns - Community Education. Registration is required.
