About Martha Brabec

Martha Brabec is the Foothills Restoration Specialist for Boise Parks and Recreation. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's degree in biology from Boise State University. Originally from Wisconsin, Martha moved to Boise in 2010 after serving in the Peace Corps in Panama. Throughout her career, she has worked on a variety of conservation issues in Idaho's sagebrush steppe ecosystem for agencies such as Idaho Fish and Game, the Bureau of Land Management, and the U.S. Geological Survey. She has been with the City of Boise for ten years.
