Raptors of Southwest Idaho

  • Garden Valley Library 85 Old Crouch Road Garden Valley, ID, 83622 United States (map)

Southwest Idaho is home to many fascinating raptors, and this class will introduce you to twelve species you’re likely to see in the region. You’ll learn how to identify both juvenile and adult birds—whether they’re soaring overhead or perched—and discover the best places to find them. We’ll also explore the habitat and behavior of each species. The class is taught by volunteers from the Golden Eagle Audubon Society.

This class is free and everyone is welcome. No registration required.
