Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve

Providing habitat for more than 100 species of birds throughout the year.

On the edge of Boise's West Bench, Hyatt Hidden Lakes is an oasis of wetlands, ponds, and upland vegetation. This favorite birding spot was made possible by numerous partnerships including GEAS and our Native Plant Network, along with the City of Boise, the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley, and the Boise River Enhancement Network. We have worked together to restore this reserve and create quality habitat.

Once a gravel pit surrounded by suburban housing developments, Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve is now a 44-acre haven for birds and other wildlife.
